Check Profile: Transcat PLM STANDARD


Support of CATIA documents:
CATProduct; CATPart (Part Design); CATPart (Sheetmetal); CATDrawing.
The Profile is suitable for both, Hybrid and non Hybrid modelling.

Scope of examination:
The profile doesn't include Methodology checks. (Usage of Startup Part,
Structure-Tree path checks, Materials, Existence of resulting elements etc.)
Only general valid checks, or checks for generally accepted methodologies
to avoid problems, included in the profile. 3D Models are assessed as master models.

Assessment:
This is a general check profile using model assessments oriented at the highest violated
error class. The error classes, used at individual checks, can vary from customer to customer,
depending their downstream processes.

Therefore each customer should evaluate and modify the check assessments by themselve.
The error classes should be oriented at their downstream problems.
Only a KO assessment means that the model isn't usable.
 

The given profile is a STANDARD profile, the result can't be a final conclusion about data quality.

Customers should create own profiles, based at own processes, to get a valid data quality assessment.
The check results, based at STANDARD profile, is only an indication for possible problems.
