Note for the licensing:

On the platform IBM, SUN and HP the product is licensed with the
license system LUM.
If you only use these three platforms there is no limitation
with the license server- and client-configuration.
This means that your current settings could be retained unchanged.

On the platform SGI the product is licensed with the license
system iFOR/LS.
If you use one of these platforms, the clients and the license
server must be configured with the option "NCS Namespace and
Direct Binding". If the option " Direct Binding only " is 
configured, then our products can’t localize the license server. 
    
Older product versions than the above mentioned use on all
platforms the license system iFOR/LS. In this case all clients
and the license server must be configured with the option 
"NCS Namespace and Direct Binding".

Please take further informations from the installation guide.
If necessary an additional file must be installed on the platforms
HP and SGI (with older product versions also on SUN).
